Happy Birthday, Sylvester Stallone! ‘Legend’ Arnold Schwarzenegger says, ‘You Inspire Me’

In a contemplative Instagram message, Schwarzenegger spoke to his friend as “a champion and a legend”.

From one action movie hero to another, Sylvester Stallone is in love with Arnold Schwarzenegger on his birthday!

The 76-year-old former governor of California, in celebration of his friend’s 78th birthday on Saturday, July 6, wrote a heartfelt Instagram post that included a few old photos of the two of them.

Schwarzenegger wrote, “Happy birthday, my friend, @officialslystallone,” as the photo’s caption. “You are a legend and a champion. Along with billions of others worldwide, you are an inspiration.”

The Terminator actor shared photos of himself and Stallone co-carving pumpkins, grinning at a previous Planet Hollywood event, and glamming up in some very ’80s attire.

TV host Marcos Mion wrote, “The greatest standing side by side with the greatest,” beneath the pictures.

In April, on TMZ Presents: Arnold & Sly: Rivals, Friends, Icons, Stallone and Schwarzenegger talked about their former feud. Because he “had something that I could chase,” Stallone remarked that Schwarzenegger “came along and I was like, ‘Finally, something to motivate me.'” Schwarzenegger acknowledged that Stallone “was very helpful in my career.”

“It was like two alphas hitting, as soon as I saw him,” Stallone continued. “We would stare at each other for a few seconds at a party before deciding, ‘I gotta get that guy.'” Although he didn’t do anything wrong, he will.

Along with his wife Jennifer Flavin, Stallone’s family members also showed him affection on his birthday: daughters Sistine, Scarlet, and Sophia. In addition to his children’ birthday greetings, Sistine posted some sweet old photos to her Instagram Stories, referring to the actor as “the greatest dad.”

She posted a few more videos and photos of her dad with her caption, “I feel so lucky to have you,” and one of their comical poses with Doja Cat’s “Boss Bitch” playing in the background.

In addition, Flavin became emotional on Instagram, sharing a carousel of images of her and her spouse that included a vintage picture from their 1997 nuptials.

With the comment, “Happy Birthday my love!! 💘🎂🎉,” she shared the picture.

Flavin, 55, went on, “You bring so much laughter, love, adventure, and strength to our family.” “With you, I’m enjoying myself more than I ever have! I’m eager to love you forever! ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

The First Blood actor also makes it a point to wish his children happy birthdays on social media. He posted a tribute to Sistine on her 16th birthday only last week, showcasing a series of images that showed some adorable father-daughter bonding moments.

“Happy birthday to @sistinestallone our amazing daughter, who brings nothing but happiness,” he tweeted. “So so proud to be your father!”

In the comments, Sistine expressed her gratitude to him, saying, “I love you, dad!!! 🥰❤️🥰.”

Apart from having two boys, Seargeoh, 44, and Sage, who passed away in 2012, with his former partner Sasha Czack, Sylvester also shares Sistine, Scarlet, 22, and Sophia, 27 with Flavin.
