Responses to requests for Asamoah Gyan to coach Ghana

Asamoah Gyan, the legendary football player from Ghana, has responded to requests that he lead the Black Stars of Ghana.

Eligible to begin his coaching career, the 39-year-old, who is regarded as one of the best African strikers of all time, has a UEFA B coaching license.

With the Black Stars being coached by Ghanaian strategist Otto Addo, Gyan feels that rising through the coaching ranks is essential.

Gyan stated on Ghana Soccer Net, “I have secured my coaching license so I will definitely do that whenever I want to venture into coaching.”

“I’ve heard individuals urging me to accept the coaching position with the Black Stars.

“I think it’s wonderful and an honor, but in cases like this, we have to face the reality. What coaching experience do you have, though?” He inquired.

“[Experience] is also important.” He emulates coworkers who are gaining coaching expertise, such as Laryea Kingston.

With 51 goals, Gyan is the Ghana national team’s all-time top goalscorer.
