Media sources state that Atletico Madrid is looking into signing Nicolas Jackson, a striker for Chelsea, before the 2024–2025 season.

After spending £35 million to join the Blues from Villarreal, the Senegalese forward struggled to make an impression during the 2023–24 season.

In 44 games in all competitions, Jackson scored 17 goals and dished out six assists for Chelsea in the previous campaign. The 23-year-old African talent became a social media sensation after a number of high-profile misses during games during the 23–24 season.

However, Jackson is now reportedly Atletico Madrid’s primary target, according to the Daily Mail.

According to the same report, Jackson felt “disgruntled” with Mauricio Pochettino and may try to leave the team as a result.

TalkSport claims that Chelsea will turn down any offers for Jackson while they get their team ready for new manager Enzo Maresca.
