Ashraf Mugume will remain at KCCA for a minimum of three additional years

Ashraf Mugume has committed to KCCA FC of the Ugandan Premier League for a further three years, ending at the conclusion of the 2026–2027 campaign.

Mugume signed a four-year contract with KCCA FC in June 2020, which he would keep until the end of the 2023–24 campaign. After joining KCCA FC in 2020, the FUFA Juniors League graduate has been a vital part of the team.

Mugume declared, “I feel delighted to commit my future to KCCA FC,” upon inking the new contract. Ever since I joined the club in 2020, I’ve been content. My teammates helped me feel at home during my first few days at the club, even though I had to get used to a new atmosphere.

“With time, I have improved as a player and gained experience. I’m all in for the team, and I want to succeed with KCCA FC. I’ve spoken with the manager multiple times, and I share his mindset. Hopefully, we can accomplish a lot with this team.

With seven league goals for KCCA FC in the 2023–24 season, Mugume was third on the scoring list, just behind Usama Arafat and Shaban Muhammad (17 and 8, respectively).
