A small plane for trips to Pemba will soon arrive in Tanzania

The Deputy Minister of Transport, David Kihenzile has said that the challenges that arose in February this year of the non-starting of Tanzania Airlines (ATCL) flights to Pemba in the islands of Zanzibar are due to the low response of passengers.

He said that the prepared plane was big, which would cause ATCL to suffer losses due to the presence of few passengers.

Deputy Minister Kihenzile said this in Parliament in Dodoma when he was responding to an additional question by Shaurimoyo State Member of Parliament, Ali Juma Mohamed who wanted to know why Tanzania Airlines flights to Pemba did not start with announcements made in February this year.

“We are counting on another small plane coming in after May, we will start taking passengers there”. has added Kihenzile.
