Sebastian Hallen – Ivory Coast striker

Sebastian Haller, the most dangerous striker in the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire national team was born in France while his father is a French citizen, but his mother is a Republic of Côte d’Ivoire citizen.

This star has slept in bed for six months battling cancer. Many of us believed that his history in soccer had ended but things have changed. Haller went back to Dimbani and has now taken the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire men soccer team into the finals.

He did not play any game in the Group Stage until we saw him in the Top 16 against Senegal when he came in from the bench. After his presence on the pitch the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire started to become better.

Haller made a pass to penetrate the Senegal box and found Nicolas Pepe who was fouled by Edwardo Mendy a goalkeeper then Frank Kessie scored a penalty to equalize.

In the quarter final game against Mali, Sebastian Haller entered from the bench again while his team was behind. His comeback made him create powerful attacks and ended up scoring two goals.

On Wednesday he helped the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire to qualify for the AFCON championship 2023 and erase the host’s tab for not doing well in this tournament.

Sebastian Haller’s job is to give the championship to Cote d’Ivoire during the last match. The way things went, I have no doubt that Côte d’Ivoire will be the champion of the CAN 2023. #CAN2023#AFCON2023
