Harmonize criticizes the wedding of Zuchu and Diamond Platnumz

Harmonize, a Tanzanian artist, rekindled his conflict with Diamond Platnumz, his former mentor, raising questions about Diamond’s alleged union with Zuchu.

Harmonize implied in a June 2, 2025, Instagram Stories post that Diamond’s wedding was a ruse to maintain control over Zuchu, a signee of his WCB Wasafi label.

He questioned the sincerity of the marriage, suggesting it was a calculated maneuver rather than a sincere commitment, and pushed Diamond to “be serious” about Zuchu.

Harmonize and Diamond have had a tense relationship ever since Harmonize departed WCB Wasafi in 2019 due to a dramatic fallout.

Their split exposed tensions inside the once-dominant music empire by opening the door for other musicians to leave the label at various points in time, including as Rayvanny, Mbosso, and Lava Lava.

The wedding of Zuchu and rumored Diamond Platnumz

Diamond posted video of a private wedding ceremony with Zuchu on Instagram along with a contemplative message, which sparked the debate.

Despite criticism from the public, he talked about embracing adulthood via quiet. Diamond acknowledged that it takes tremendous fortitude to remain silent in the face of misleading narratives; this is a tactic he has used to steer clear of confrontation.

He stated, “I’ve learned to let go and trust that higher forces fight my battles,” citing his recent conscious decision to shun interviews.

When Diamond said, “Everyone has their own ideas about me and marriage, but I’ve been married before, and I’ll share that story one day,” the post took an unexpected turn.

Given his well-known relationships with Wema Sepetu, Hamisa Mobetto, Zari Hassan, Tanasha Donna, and now Zuchu, many were taken aback by this news. The mysterious remark raised questions about a hitherto unknown period of his life.

Fans were split on the legitimacy of the wedding as Harmonize’s comments sparked an online controversy. While some mirrored Harmonize’s mistrust and suspected Diamond of being a publicity hoax, others praised Diamond’s analytical attitude.
