Coco Jones is more excited than ever as her debut album, “Why Not More?” is released

“I’m curious to see what people say.”

With her debut album, Why Not More?, Coco Jones is determined to enthrall her fans, and there is no denying the buzz around its release. The 27-year-old is ready for everyone to enjoy the same excitement, passion, and risk-taking that she does as she enters this daring new phase that exudes more sex appeal and unreserved candor.

To be honest, I’m ecstatic. During an appearance at Motorola’s launch of its brand-new, nostalgic Razr phone on Thursday night (April 24), the singer told VIBE, “I’m proud of myself for putting together a body of work, and I’m curious to see what people say.”

This album marks a major turning point in Coco’s career, and it’s obvious that she’s prepared for what comes next.

Jones’ vocal skill and profound emotional resonance are on full display in the debut LP, which is streaming now (April 25) and skillfully combines modern R&B with sounds that defy genres. Jones stressed her willingness to explore new creative spaces when asked about the partnerships she envisioned for Why Not More?

She expressed her wish to collaborate with everyone, saying, “I’m definitely always looking to expand my horizons and work with new artists and new producers.” “Anyone, anybody, could be it because I truly enjoy trying new things.”

The “ICU” singer’s readiness to venture beyond her comfort zone is indicative of her ongoing ambition and musical development. Jones talked candidly about the album to the Recording Academy earlier this year, calling it a “bucket list” item for her. “I’m very strict with myself, so it’s been a really long process,” she started. “I believe my fans are waiting for what they love most from me. Those ballads, those vocally demanding parts, but I’m genuinely working to forward the R&B story.

“I love to perform,” she added. High intensity is what I adore. I adore choreography. In my ideal world, they could live side by side. Additionally, I believe that R&B can be very adaptable, and that is what I am attempting to demonstrate and impart to my listeners.

In addition to listening to “Why Not More?” above, fans can keep an eye out for the R&B singer’s upcoming supporting tour, which begins in Philadelphia on May 5 and ends in Nashville on June 26. After that, she will travel abroad for six dates in various European cities, including Cologne, Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam, London, and Paris.
