Elon Musk Must Take Action Against Kanye West on X, David Schwimmer Demands

Actor David Schwimmer of “Friends” has openly called on Elon Musk to ban Kanye West from X, the social media site that was once known as Twitter, after the musician made a number of offensive and antisemitic tweets.

Ye’s most recent outburst, which featured a series of antisemitic postings, was followed by David Schwimmer’s appeal to action.

Amid antisemitic remarks, David Schwimmer urges Elon Musk to prevent Kanye West from appearing on X.

In response to the controversy, the “Friends” actor took to Instagram on Saturday to attack Musk for allowing West, who is now known as Ye, to continue to have a platform in spite of his hate speech background.

“We cannot stop a sick bigot from spitting stupid, hateful venom… Schwimmer wrote, “But we CAN stop giving him a megaphone, Mr. Musk.” “32.7 million people follow Kanye West on your platform, X. In comparison, there are twice as many people as there are Jews. Violence against Jews is a real-life consequence of his vile hate rhetoric.

Schwimmer went on to make an ardent case, saying:

“I’m not sure which is worse—the fact that he calls himself a Nazi, implying that he wants to eradicate ALL marginalized communities, including his own—or the fact that there isn’t enough outrage to ban him from all social media right now.”

He sternly warned, “Silence is complicity,” as he concluded his remarks.

Kanye West’s Divisive Post

The inflammatory tweet that Kanye published that said, “I don’t like or trust no Jewish person, and this is completely sober with no Hennessy,” prompted the actor to issue a call to action.

Then he added, “I’m racist,” and “I’m a Nazi.” “Jewish people actually hate white people and use black people,” and “all stereotypes are true and have a purpose.”

“I love Hitler,” Ye said, continuing his outburst. Those bitches now. For my remarks toward Jews, I will never apologize.

Headlines Are Made by Bianca Censori

Ye made news at the 2025 Grammys with his wife, Bianca Censori, wearing a revealing naked minidress. This sparked the issue a few days later. Writing that he had “dominion over [his] wife” and that their relationship was not founded on “woke feminist sh-t,” West justified the appearance.

Additionally, the rapper tried to defend his comments by adding, “Hitler was sooooo fresh,” at one point.

Previous X restrictions stemmed from West’s history of provocative statements, including a suspension from December 2022 until mid-2023 for posting antisemitic content, including a swastika. Real-world repercussions of his behavior include Adidas cutting off their relationship with him.

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ release is demanded by Kanye West.

Throughout his posts, Kanye West also pushed for the release of jailed Sean “Diddy” Combs. The unexpected show of support quickly garnered attention, as West and Combs have had a tumultuous relationship in recent years.

Despite their past differences, Diddy wasted no time in acknowledging West’s public plea, thanking the Yeezy founder for his advocacy.

“JUST FOR CLARITY THEY TYRING TO MAKE AN EXAMPLE OUT OF PUFF ME AND MY BROTHER HAD OUR ISSUES BUT THESE WHITE PEOPLE TRYING TO USE PUFF TO SCARE N-GGAS IM NEITHER SCARED NOR BRAVE THIS JUST ME.”

“I JUST FOUND OUT THAT PUFF IS NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE OR COLLECT MONEY WHILE HE’S LOCKED UP, SO I’MA SEND HIS HALF OF THE MONEY TO JUSTIN,” he added.

West’s statement comes as a surprise to many, given that Combs previously criticized him in 2022 for being “tone deaf” after unveiling his controversial White Lives Matter merchandise. However, it appears that West has now extended an olive branch, calling for Combs’ release in a series of social media posts.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Thanks Kanye

Combs is currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, facing several sex crime charges. The “Finna Get Loose” rapper has denied all allegations and has made multiple unsuccessful attempts to secure bail.

Breaking his silence on West’s unexpected support, Combs responded with gratitude after West directly pleaded with former President Donald Trump to “Free Puff.” In a shocking twist, West also announced plans to release a new Yeezy clothing line in collaboration with Combs’ Sean John brand.

“Thank you to my brother @Ye,” Combs wrote, sharing a link to the Yeezy website.
