Trump claims he would expedite the release of the assassination files of Robert Kennedy, MLK, and JFK

Donald Trump declared his intention to release JFK, Robert Kennedy, and MLK assassination papers more quickly.

On Sunday, President-elect Donald Trump declared that he will make public classified materials related to the killings of civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr., Senator Robert Kennedy, and US President John F. Kennedy in the days ahead.

Ahead of his second, non-consecutive term, Trump reaffirmed his campaign pledge to release the law enforcement and intelligence records pertaining to these high-profile killings during a rally in downtown Washington. During his first tenure, which lasted from 2017 to 2021, he made certain JFK assassination files public, but many of them were kept secret because of national security concerns expressed by the FBI and CIA.

The remaining documents pertaining to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, his brother Robert Kennedy, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and other highly public subjects would be made public in the days ahead, Trump stated.

Trump’s declaration has brought attention to these events, even though he did not promise to a complete declassification or identify which records will be released.

Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. were both slain in 1968, yet the American public is still fascinated with John F. Kennedy’s 1963 death.

According to official reports and federal investigations, JFK was killed by a lone shooter, Lee Harvey Oswald. But according to studies, a large number of Americans believe there is a larger conspiracy.

The son of Robert Kennedy and JFK’s nephew, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has been nominated as Trump’s health and human services secretary. He has expressed his conviction that the CIA was involved in JFK’s killing, an allegation that the agency has denied as unfounded.

Kennedy Jr. has also denied the official account of events, claiming that other gunmen were engaged in his father’s death.
