Ismaël Saibari is edging closer to a transfer to Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich has made a significant move in the pursuit of Moroccan international Ismaël Saibari. After several weeks of interest, the German club has successfully reached an agreement with the PSV Eindhoven star for a contract that will extend until 2030. The Bavarian giants are now concentrating on concluding negotiations with PSV to finalize the transfer.
Ismaël Saibari garnered significant attention following an exceptional season in the Netherlands. The 25-year-old midfielder netted 19 goals and provided 9 assists in 37 matches for PSV Eindhoven, achievements that earned him the Eredivisie Player of the Season award. In recent months, PSG closely monitored his situation, but Bayern Munich swiftly took the lead in pursuing his signature.
Saibari continues to excel alongside Morocco as well. On Tuesday evening, he netted two goals in the Atlas Lions’ 4-0 triumph against Madagascar in a World Cup 2026 preparation match. PSV Eindhoven continues to anticipate a considerable transfer fee for the Moroccan international, whose contract with the Dutch club extends until 2029.
