Anthony Edwards makes $3.3 million a month, but Baby Mama says she only makes $1,000

Anthony Edwards, a guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves, is getting more attention for his legal problems off the court after new court records showed a big difference in money in one of his child support cases.

Court records show $7,000 a month in income

TMZ reports that new documents show Edwards makes around $3,364,911 a month in gross income, while Alexandria Desroches, who is married to one of his children, makes around $1,016 a month. From what the papers say, Edwards also pays Desroches around $12,500 a month in child support.

TMZ said that Edwards and Desroches have a kid together. The child was born in October 2023. The filing adds another layer to the NBA star’s growing paternity and child support issues, which have been going on in several court cases while Edwards continues to play for the Timberwolves.

The Desroches case adds to more ongoing legal battles.

Edwards’ case against Desroches came to light while he was already in a different fight with Ayesha Howard, with whom he has a daughter named Aubri Summers. Us Weekly earlier reported that Howard went to court in March 2025 and said she was a “fit and loving mother” while asking for full legal and physical custody of the child.

Later, Page Six claimed that Edwards agreed to give Howard full legal and physical custody of Aubri while they worked out their child support issues. Before Howard went after similar claims in California, Edwards had filed a paternity and child support case in Georgia.

Howard Quits Online Rumors

Many people said that Edwards had paid Howard more than $1 million in advance in child support because of the court battle. Howard said that story was false. People magazine said in April 2026 that Howard filed an affidavit saying that Edwards had “intentionally” hidden assets in California to escape paying child support. Edwards hasn’t said anything about these claims in public, and when People asked his staff to do so, they didn’t answer right away.

A private court pressures a well-known person.

TMZ also said in its story that Edwards signed a new five-year deal worth up to $260 million in 2023. As the court cases go on, the public record is now mostly about paternity, jurisdiction, custody, and support obligations for more than one kid and different court cases.
