Cam’ron Encourages Scammers to Channel Their Talents Towards Addressing Soaring Gas Prices Next

The Harlem rapper humorously pointed out that while fraudsters may be able to steal identities, they still can’t seem to assist drivers at the gas pump.

Cam’ron has inquiries for the scammers, and he believes they are lacking in a crucial area: gas prices.

In a recent episode of “Talk With Flee,” the Harlem rapper turned media personality delivered a humorous yet strikingly relatable rant about the increasing expenses of filling up a gas tank. Cam humorously referenced comments made by fellow rapper Plies, suggesting that those supposedly orchestrating elaborate online scams should have found a way to assist working individuals in coping with exorbitant gas prices by this point.

“Nearly $200 per gallon. “And where are the scammers at?” Cam said during the episode. “You all have access to everyone’s social security number… and yet you haven’t resolved this gas issue?”

Cam shared that he had just come back from Los Angeles and found himself spending $168 to fill his tank, a figure he clearly had not yet come to terms with. He claims that his regular fill-up costs about $89, which makes the increase feel even more egregious.

The rapper continued to deliver humor while portraying scammers as oddly missing during a national struggle that resonates with everyone. Cam wryly wondered why there weren’t people outside gas stations assisting customers at the pump or convening late-night “strategy meetings” in hotel rooms aimed at tackling gas prices.

At one moment, he even called out Plies for sparking the discussion, expressing his full agreement with the Florida rapper’s frustration. “You have one job, and that’s to steal,” Cam joked, before adding that scammers still haven’t quite “figured the gas thing out.”

The conversation later transitioned to anecdotes about what is often referred to as “dumpster diving,” with Cam reminiscing about an ex-girlfriend who had cautioned him years prior about scammers rummaging through trash cans in search of old mail, personal information, and financial documents. He expressed his astonishment upon discovering that individuals reportedly go to the extent of separating discarded mail into multiple garbage bags to prevent identity theft.

Underneath the humor, the moment resonated as it addressed a genuine frustration. As daily expenses keep rising, even humor about gas prices feels more personal these days.
