Rihanna is sharing details about the frightening afternoon when her family’s safety was at risk. Following a shooting at their Los Angeles estate earlier this month, the Fenty mogul and A$AP Rocky have largely maintained their privacy, but new police reports are now shedding light on the turmoil.

Fresh details have emerged regarding her conversations with police officers about the shooting incident at her home earlier this month, as reported by The Los Angeles Times.

The documents indicate that the whole family was present on the property when 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz reportedly discharged her weapon.

As per the police reports released from a court filing earlier this week, the couple and their children were present at the residence during the shooting. According to reports, RiRi mentioned that she and Rocky were inside an Airstream trailer on the property when the shooter opened fire.

Rihanna’s instincts activated the moment she recognized they were under attack. She recounts that her partner was asleep when she “suddenly heard about ten loud noises resembling something striking metal.”

She immediately stepped in to protect Rocky. The singer allegedly roused the rapper, informing him that they were under gunfire, and urged both of them to take cover on the ground.
