Drone Strike in Russia Results in Child’s Death
A drone strike from Ukraine in Russia’s Yaroslavl region resulted in the death of a child and injuries to others.
Governor Mikhail Evraev reported that a child lost their life following a Ukrainian drone strike that struck residences in the Yaroslavl region.
The governor of Russia’s Yaroslavl region, Mikhail Evraev, reported that a child lost their life due to a Ukrainian drone attack that targeted residential areas northeast of Moscow.
Evraev reported that the child was in a private residence located in a suburban area at the time of the strike. The child’s parents suffered severe injuries and are currently hospitalized, and a woman in a nearby house also incurred injuries.
He stated that all victims are receiving the required medical care as authorities address the aftermath of the attack.
Evraev reported that Russian air defense systems successfully intercepted over 30 Ukrainian drones aimed at the region during the incident.
In the meantime, Russia’s defense ministry announced that a total of 155 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed overnight in various regions, including areas surrounding Moscow.
Officials report that several residential buildings and a retail facility sustained damage, with evaluations currently in progress.
