He proposes that the harmful exchanges between fanbases, such as the recent conflict between Drake and Kendrick Lamar supporters, serve as a significant distraction. Incessant infighting preoccupies the culture, rendering it too fragmented to effectively resist the forces attempting to silence hip-hop entirely.
