Mexican navy has captured a submarine containing four tons of cocaine
The Mexican navy intercepted a submarine transporting up to four tons of cocaine in the Pacific Ocean off the country’s West coast, according to Mexico’s Security Minister Omar Garcia Harfuch on Thursday.
“In the past week, maritime operations have enabled the seizure of nearly 10 tons of this drug.” “This signifies a substantial and multimillion-dollar setback to the financial frameworks of organized crime, thwarting millions of doses from hitting the streets and safeguarding the well-being of Mexican families,” Garcia Harfuch stated in a post on X, also noting that three individuals had been apprehended.
