Fury has announced his return to the ring for a fight against Makhmudov in April

British heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will make his ring comeback in his own nation on April 11 when he takes on Arslanbek Makhmudov.

The 37-year-old Fury declared his retirement early last year, but before declaring this month that he would return for his first fight since losing to Oleksandr Usyk in December 2024, he had hinted at a comeback.

The fight’s location will be revealed later.

“Happy to return. In boxing, heart has always been and always will be. “Go inform the king that the ace has returned,” Fury commanded.

In his most recent bout, Makhmudov, a Russian living in Canada, dominated Dave Allen of Britain, bolstering his credentials.

“I am thrilled about the opportunity,” Makhmudov declared. “I have a war to deliver. Tyson Fury has achieved great success. I’ll be better prepared than ever to depart with a huge W.
