Quinton Aaron, star of “The Blind Side,” was hospitalized following a fall, but his manager denied that he was on life support
Actor Quinton Aaron is reportedly recuperating in a hospital in Atlanta following a terrifying medical incident that occurred inside his house.
Aaron was hospitalized a few days ago when he passed out in his residence. Aaron played Michael Oher in “The Blind Side.” Aaron was utilizing a staircase when his legs unexpectedly failed, causing him to fall to the ground, a spokesman informed TMZ. He was taken for rapid medical attention by emergency personnel once they were notified.
Aaron is still in the hospital as a result of the ongoing tests and monitoring. Alarming wording has been used on online fundraising pages related to his medical condition, stating that his health was critical and implying that a blood infection had put him on life support. Later on, Aaron’s manager refuted those accounts.
“Quinton is surrounded by loved ones and is receiving excellent medical care,” stated his manager. They asked the public to respect the family’s privacy while therapy is ongoing and affirmed that the actor is stable, aware, and able to speak with family and coworkers.
There is still no certified diagnosis that explains the medical emergency, and no official cause for the fall has been disclosed. According to those close to Aaron, medical professionals are still doing assessments before giving any information.
Aaron has been dealing with a number of health issues in recent years, and this hospital stay is just one of them. He had a fever and coughed up blood in March 2025, which physicians attributed to complications from Type A influenza and pneumonia. He was treated in California. Additionally, in 2019, he struggled with a severe upper respiratory infection.
Aaron had just been announcing his long-term health makeover, which included losing almost 200 pounds, and celebrating his personal accomplishments. He revealed that his weight had decreased from 575 pounds to roughly 375 pounds. He stands 6 feet 8 inches tall.
