A$AP Rocky Declares His Friendship with Drake is Over, Criticizes His Disses Towards Rihanna as “Soft”

The Harlem rapper talks with Ebro Darden on why he believes Drake’s actions are “soft” and why he took jabs on his new album.

The subliminals are officially over for A$AP Rocky. In an Apple Music interview with Ebro Darden to promote his new album “Don’t Be Dumb,” Lord Flacko finally expressed his opinions and verified what everyone had previously surmised: his friendship with Drake is over.

Rocky didn’t hold back when questioned about the conflict, calling Drake’s incapacity to let go of their shared past with Rihanna “soft.”

We used to be pals, but it seems like it’s over, ladies. Rocky clarified, “I think he wasn’t happy, and he expressed that.” “The petty picking at women should be a thing of the past at their age,” he said. “I find it soft that you are still picking on a woman and all that.”

Although there isn’t “real smoke” in terms of violence, Rocky made it apparent that he no longer has room for Drizzy in his life, likening the nature of most rap feuds to the spectacles of professional wrestling. He also made it clear that his new music is a broad message for everyone who has been whispering behind his back, rather than just a targeted jab at one individual.

“At last, I responded to a few people. I’m talking to whoever it is, and it’s not just about one individual. “Whoever thinks I’m speaking to them,” he clarified.

Since the release of “Don’t Be Dumb,” Rocky’s new song “Stole Ya Flow,” which contains some really sharp lyrics about style-biting and plastic surgery, hit the streets, there has been a lot of friction.

In response to Drake’s alleged cosmetic enhancements, Rocky raps, “N**as getting BBLs, lucky we don’t body shame / Throwin’ dirt on Rocky name, turn around and copy game.” He goes on to say, “First you stole my flow, so I stole yo’ b***h / If you stole my style, I need at least like ten percent.”

Even though he had to get a few things off his chest first, Rocky appears happy to put the pettiness behind him after years of being composed as Drake released dubious lyrics about his relationship with Rihanna.
