Trump says he wants Ethiopian and Egyptian leaders to settle the Nile dam problem

U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday that he would want to meet with Ethiopian and Egyptian leaders to negotiate a resolution to the conflict over Ethiopia’s Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, which both Sudan and Egypt view as a major danger to essential water supplies.

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Trump made the remarks while meeting with President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi of Egypt.
