Desi Banks claims that after Google closed an ad account connected to the Israeli movement, he was set up
Desi Banks is retaliating after Google acknowledged that it had terminated an advertising account associated with his business due to what it described as “egregious” policy infractions, which sparked wild speculation about a purported devotion to Israel.
Google announced on January 20, 2026, that the advertising account associated with Desi Banks Productions LLC had been closed. The account was allegedly used for months to run advertisements recruiting “family members of Iranian government officials as agents of Israel’s foreign intelligence service,” according to independent journalist Jack Poulson and writer Max Blumenthal, who revealed the ban.
Many advertisements connected to Israel’s espionage service Mossad allegedly vanished after the account was blocked. Google did not specify which particular policies were broken, but it did confirm the suspension. Other Mossad-related recruitment campaigns may still be seen on social media sites including Telegram, Twitter, and Google-hosted forms. Some advertisements are purportedly camouflaged as unrelated information, such as beauty items and messages about kid safety.
Online, this strange circumstance sparked a frenzy of criticism, with many accusing the comic of supporting a dangerous cause. Later thereafter, he released a thorough statement refuting any involvement in the advertisements. Banks claimed that his company’s data had been stolen.
“Get over your delusions. I detest that I am experiencing this as I have no idea what any of it is. It’s true that people are falling for clickbait. I have children, and I would never participate in such a situation. My LLC was utilized without my knowledge.
In what way? So far, I’m not sure. My team is now investigating, but I’m not even sure whether half of what’s being reported is authentic. I have no idea why or by whom this is being done. I have never participated in, authorized, or run political advertisements or anything in another language. He said, “My company is already working with Google to remove anything that was done without my permission and to figure out how my company name was used,” in a long statement that included a text message in which he appeared to be shocked to learn of the issue.

“When you don’t know the facts, stop propagating false narratives from sporadic posts. I’m doing everything I can to find answers, but this entire issue is complicated and stressful. I don’t deserve this, dawg, and it’s awful.
How and by whom Banks’s company name was allegedly used is still the major question as the review proceeds.
