Lamar Odom Arrested In Las Vegas For DUI After Allegedly Speeding Over 40 MPH Over The Limit

The former NBA player is back in legal hot water after being arrested by Las Vegas police on several misdemeanor charges, including failing to maintain his lane.

Lamar Odom is dealing with new legal troubles in Las Vegas. A number of accusations, including driving under the influence, led to the 46-year-old former NBA champion’s arrest and booking into the Clark County Detention Center on Saturday.

Odom is charged with three distinct crimes, according to Clark County court documents, which were first reported by TMZ. Odom is charged with driving more than 41 mph over the posted speed limit, failing to stay in his lane, and first-offense DUI.

The three accusations are all being handled as misdemeanors. According to records, Odom was being held on $4,000 bond as of Saturday afternoon.

This most recent episode represents a major setback for the former Los Angeles Laker, who has been candid about his prior battles with substance misuse and his recovery process over the past few years.

Although it’s unknown exactly where in Las Vegas the arrest occurred or what prompted the authorities to pull him over, the speeding charge alone raises the possibility of a hazardous driving situation.

Odom is now slated to appear in court for the first time on March 17.
