“I Hate Y’all”: Claressa Shields Accuses Tasha K for Calling Her Man ‘Broke’ and Living Off of Her $8 Million Bag
The host of “unWinneD” says she’s just acting like an aunt, but the champion doesn’t agree, calling the blogger a “cancer” for society.
The conflict between boxing champion Claressa Shields and Tasha K has escalated.
Tasha K made the decision to address the underlying tension in a recent episode of “unWinneD,” but rather than compromising, she strengthened her position. Tasha says she’s just acting as the protective aunt who sees through the smoke and mirrors of Shields’ high-profile relationship with rapper Papoose, even though the world champion has made it clear that she wants Tasha to keep her name out of her lips.
Surprisingly, Tasha began the segment by standing up for Claressa against the online trolls who are always criticizing the fighter’s appearance. Please, will you stop calling Claressa ugly? Would you kindly refrain from calling Claressa ugly? Tasha begged her listeners. First of all, when our hair and bonnets get chewed up, all Black women seem terrible. However, Claressa is not unattractive. Claressa now has some cash. She hasn’t had any facial or body surgery to alter anything. Well, that’s how you can tell she’s attractive. Tasha contended that the media frequently purposefully selects “aggressive” images of the champion to support a particular story while neglecting her inherent beauty.
The “compliments,” however, were short-lived as the tone quickly changed to what Tasha refers to as “brand protection.” Tasha maintains that her critical remarks about Claressa’s partner, whom she mockingly called “Papsmear” or “Pat Smith,” are the result of careful consideration. “I perceive something that is invisible to you. “I smell it,” Tasha cautioned. “He has no good intentions. He doesn’t mean no good, Rissa. He doesn’t have any money. I can tell.
Tasha even went so far as to say that the presents we see on social media are a facade and that Claressa is out here paying for her own relationship. “You had to offer him the Louis Vuitton box you purchased as a gift, acting as though he had purchased it for you, after you had purchased the duffel bag. Your money is his only source of income. He has no money.
The blogger’s “advice” obviously irritated Claressa Shields, who recently signed a historic $8 million promotional agreement. The champion didn’t hold back in a scathing video response that Tasha showed her audience.
“Lesha Dean and Tasha K. Shields yelled, “You are cancers to the Black African-American culture.” You all spend your entire careers trying to discredit Black women and spreading false information about them. I despise you all. Yes, I do. I despise you all. She continued by saying, “I’m self-made, self-built,” to reassure everyone that her pockets are far from empty. I received $8 million. Are you stupid?
Tasha concluded the discussion with a sobering warning about the rotating women she says Papoose is still seeing, including his estranged wife, Remy Ma, despite the “hate” and financial flex.
Tasha joked, “Claressa, the only thing that’s a cancer to the Black community is the cancer you’re about to get.” With the rotating women he’s playing with, he’s going to make you the target of a string of papsmears. His present wife is still included, in my perspective.
It’s obvious that Claressa Shields isn’t seeking a place at Tasha’s table, regardless of whether you view Tasha as a worried bystander or as an untidy provocateur.
