Teyana Taylor Shares Her Thoughts on Beyoncé’s Consistent Support Behind the Scenes: “I Love Making Her Proud”

The passion behind the scenes was as intense as the actual victory. Teyana Taylor is still processing the significance of her first Golden Globe victory and the people who supported her after the lights went down after a night that defined her career. Taylor revealed that she received flowers and a handwritten card from Beyoncé a few days after winning Best Supporting Actress for “One Battle After Another.” It was an obviously significant event.

On Tuesday, January 13, Taylor spoke candidly about her feelings in an interview with Extra.

“It was really charming. She exclaimed, “Oh my God, I simply adore her.” Since I was fifteen years old, she has consistently provided me with support. I enjoy making her proud, and I also love that she’s watching me develop and, you know, mature. Additionally, I adore that Mom never fails to express her pride in me, which means the world to me.

Later, Taylor posted the white rose bouquet and Beyoncé’s message on Instagram, writing, “Teyana, you have my utmost admiration.” You are deserving of everything and more. Continue to radiate your power. May you and yours always be blessed by God. B, all my love.

Taylor received the award as her first Golden Globe nomination and winner. She costarred with Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie, and her heartfelt acceptance speech went viral very fast.

She addressed the audience, saying, “To my brown sisters and little brown girls watching tonight.” “Our tenderness is not a drawback. We don’t get too deep. We don’t need permission to shine our light. Every room we enter is a place where we belong. Our dreams should be heard, and our voices are important.

The prize meant something to Taylor. It was more important for the pride it contained.
