NYPD rookie is being looked into after allegedly explicit OnlyFans content is shared among coworkers
The New York Post reported that an NYPD rookie officer is being investigated because it was said that she used to run an OnlyFans account with explicit material. The NYPD’s Internal Affairs Bureau is looking into the case right now.
Officer Dannah Battino is being investigated. She started working for the police department in April 2025 and is still in the two-year probationary time that all new officers have to go through. It was said by The Washington Post that the account in question had “dozens of raunchy snaps,” some of which showed Battino “getting frisky with an unidentified lady friend.” The police haven’t said for sure when the content was made or if any of it was shared after she became an NYPD officer.
Sources in the New York Police Department told the news outlet that the OnlyFans account was made before Battino joined the force and was deleted after pictures were shared among officers. It’s still not clear when the account was last used.
As a condition of being hired by the NYPD, candidates must reveal all sources of outside income. The investigation should check to see if those conditions were met and if the claimed behavior goes against departmental rules.
A number of NYPD sources had strong views about what was going on. One source told the Post, “She should be fired right away from this job. There’s no place for that in this department.” We are a militia group, and to be a police officer, we have to meet certain standards. “She needs to leave the department,” said another person. “She doesn’t belong at work.”
Battino allegedly worked as an FDNY emergency medical technician before he joined the NYPD.
The Police Benevolent Association has spoken out in support of the officer, stressing that the claims do not involve any illegal behavior. “If she didn’t do anything illegal or that affects her ability to do her job, then it’s none of anyone else’s business,” said Patrick Hendry, President of the PBA. He also said it was “shameful that her personal information is being dumped out into public view” and said the pictures should not be shared.
The investigation by Internal Affairs is still going on, and no punishment has been revealed.
