Elon Musk is under fire for supporting a tweet that calls for “white solidarity”

The Tech Mogul Faces Serious Criticism After Making Allegations That Being a Minority Could Encourage Violence Against White Men

Once again, Elon Musk is at the heart of a social media frenzy after seeming to support extremist opinions regarding race and the future of the West.

In a statement published on Thursday, the Twitter owner forewarned that if present demographic trends continue, white men’s future is bleak. According to the original statement, which Musk cited, “If White men become a minority, we will be slaughtered.” It took a tough stance on survival.

The message continued by claiming that “White solidarity is the only way to survive” and implying that if non-White groups gained a collective majority, they would become “1000x times more hostile and cruel.” Musk merely added the emoji “100” to the repost, which many saw as a complete validation of the remark.

As the world nears the one-year mark of Musk’s contentious participation at Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2025, this most recent action has been taken. Musk received a lot of flak for making a hand motion during those celebrations that many said resembled a Nazi salute: touching his chest and extending his arm outward.

Even though the defenders, including the Anti-Defamation League, claimed it was merely a “awkward expression of enthusiasm,” the incident had a lasting impact on his reputation. By promoting beliefs about ethnic “slaughter,” Musk appears to be further solidifying his position as a champion of what he refers to as “Western values.”

Musk amended his pinned tweet to include a video titled “How to save the West” by Canadian professor Gad Saad, in addition to the “solidarity” message. Saad advocates in the video for a tighter assimilation policy for immigrants and a cultural hierarchy.

“The West must proudly and unequivocally defend Western values in order to win this civilizational battle… recognize that all cultures are not equal, recognize that all religious beliefs are not equally consistent with Western values, and recognize that all immigrants are not equally likely to assimilate and adopt Western values,” he said.

By choosing to pin this particular message, Musk appears to be making a concerted effort to change the discourse surrounding immigration and identity. His detractors claim that he is using his enormous platform to mainstream harmful white supremacist speech, while his fans view him as a daring truth-teller battling “civilizational suicide.”
