Cardi B Retaliates in Support of Stefon Diggs During Accusation of Strangulation

During a contentious social media battle on Monday, December 5, the well-known rapper supported Stefon Diggs. The controversy started when someone accused her boyfriend of assaulting his previous cook.
After a pay dispute, Stefon Diggs’ former employee accused him of strangling her and filed a police report. But in a since-deleted post, Cardi B boldly said that her lover was innocent and accused the female chef of lying.

Cardi B vented her rage at people who thought Diggs had physically assaulted his former cook in a since-deleted post on X. She emphasized that the woman had a friendly relationship with the former employee and that her charges were without merit.
The “Pretty & Petty” hitmaker claims that she and the accuser had been communicating every day until she abruptly left the house and texted her in a mysterious way. She posted a screen grab of the purported text, in which the chef apologized but said she was unable to communicate with Cardi B any more.
The purported communication, which was partially provided by TMZ, said, “Please contact my mediator, and she will answer anything you need to know.” In her since-deleted post, Cardi B stated that she would keep quiet about the matter and let the court handle it as she thought the truth will win out.
The Rapper Tells Trolls to Expect Stefon Diggs to Win
Cardi B went on to say that she wants trolls and haters to beg for forgiveness on their knees if Diggs wins the lawsuit. They had to apologize as loudly as they chastised her spouse, she said.
In the name of the Lord, I put that on my two-month-old kid! I’m that confident,” Cardi B said. Her remarks were made a few days after Diggs’s lawyer, David Meier, denied the claims of physical assault in a statement.
The female chef’s allegations, according to Meier, were “unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, and were never investigated — because they did not occur.” He emphasized that Diggs was charged with strangling due to “an employee-employer financial dispute that was not resolved to the employee’s satisfaction.”

Diggs’ former employee initially filed her claims on December 16, two weeks after he allegedly assaulted her, according to an incident record that PEOPLE was able to obtain. She explained to Dedham Police Department officers that back pay was the source of the conflict.
The female cook said that once she questioned Diggs about the salary he purportedly owed, their relationship deteriorated. He entered her bedroom, she wrote, after they had “been having an ongoing text exchange over money owed to [her].”
According to the story, the woman claimed that Diggs fell “angered” when they began talking about her unpaid salary. She claimed that after slapping her across the face, he choked her “using the crook of his elbow around her neck,” making it difficult for her to breathe.
At first, the accused refused to submit a police report.
The lady claims that when Diggs “tightened his grip” on her neck when she attempted to pull his arm away, she “could’ve blacked out” during the alleged strangulation. At one point, she observed, he let her go and tossed her upon the bed before heading out.
Diggs joked, “thought so,” as she exited her bedroom, the accuser added. Remarkably, when she originally withdrew her accusations against the NFL player on December 16, she told the authorities that she did not want to file a report against him.
On December 23, nevertheless, the woman changed her mind and requested that Diggs be charged by the police. The chef released her purported text message exchange with Diggs outlining their compensation issue before choosing to take legal action.
