Tinubu of Nigeria and Kagame talk about international issues
President Paul Kagame and his Nigerian colleague Bola Ahmed Tinubu had a private lunch during which they talked about global issues on Sunday.
“This afternoon, I had a private lunch with H. E. President Paul Kagame of Rwanda to discuss the current state of world affairs and advancing Africa in an ever-changing global landscape,” Tinubu said in an article on X.
Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s Special Advisor on Information and Strategy, stated that the meeting took place in Paris.
The two leaders last got together in January 2025 when attending Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
President Kagame was present at Tinubu’s May 2023 inauguration.
