Snoop Dogg aspires to return Celtic to the top
Snoop Dogg, the legendary American rapper, has stated his desire to invest in Celtic FC in order to assist the Scottish powerhouses in regaining their supremacy. The 54-year-old artist, who has been a devoted fan since 2005 and is valued at over €136 million, expressed disappointment at Brendan Rodgers’ abrupt resignation and advocated for former manager Ange Postecoglou to perhaps return.
Snoop stated in an interview with the Daily Record that he is prepared to make a monetary contribution to the club’s future. “Why not as an investor, but not as a coach? He urged the club’s leadership to “just ask,” saying, “Celtic is a huge club, and the fans deserve to see it shine again.” His remarks coincide with growing hostilities between the board and supporters, as Rodgers’ “divisive” style has been criticized by majority shareholder Dermot Desmond.
Snoop Dogg, who already owns a portion of Swansea City, has always envisioned combining his passion for football with his economic acumen. “I adore sports: players and coaches come and go, but the spirit endures,” he remarked. The rapper also made a joke about setting up a burger truck outside Celtic Park, which, if his Celtic endeavor succeeds, might not be too far off.
