PSG players dominate the world XI, and Yamal becomes the youngest player ever named
Five PSG players are included in the FIFPRO 2025 Men’s World 11, with 18-year-old Lamine Yamal being the youngest player ever chosen.
Five of Paris Saint-Germain’s top players were included in the elite lineup that was revealed on Monday, demonstrating the team’s dominance in the 2025 FIFPRO Men’s World 11.
More than 26,000 professional football players from 68 nations chose the squad in recognition of their exceptional accomplishments from July 2024 to August 2025.
Gianluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, and Ousmane Dembélé are among PSG’s delegates.
They are joined by Kylian Mbappe, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, Barcelona’s Pedri, Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk, Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid, and 18-year-old wonder Lamine Yamal.
After an incredible season that made him one of the most significant young players in international football, Yamal became the youngest player ever selected in the international 11. Out of all the outfield players, the Barcelona forward also garnered the most votes.
After an outstanding season, Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer was named for the first time, and Van Dijk of Liverpool was named for the sixth time in the starting lineup.
However, the lack of well-known players like Mohamed Salah of Liverpool and Raphinha of Barcelona provoked discussion among supporters and commentators, with many going to social media to express their disapproval.
One of football’s most prestigious player-voted awards, FIFPRO’s World 11 honors the top players in the world each year.
