Executive Director Auka John Gecheo is suspended by CECAFA

Mr. Auka John Gecheo, CECAFA’s Executive Director, has been suspended after an executive meeting presided over by Acting President Alexandre Muyenge.

Burundi, Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Kenya, and Somalia were among the seven member associations who attended a consultative conference of CECAFA presidents that resulted in the decision.
