Victor Boniface, a striker from Nigeria, is close to joining AC Milan after the Italian powerhouses and Bayer Leverkusen agreed on a loan arrangement.
Reports state that the agreement is a loan with a purchase option rather than a commitment. The buy option is set at somewhat less than €30 million, while the overall package is reportedly worth between €30 million and €35 million.
As a result, Milan will have the opportunity, but not the obligation, to sign the forward long-term when the loan is over.
