Bernard Mensah announces his move to Al Nasr Dubai after departing from Riyadh

Bernard Mensah, a former midfielder for the Black Stars, has moved to Al Nasr SC in Dubai after leaving Al Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.

After an exciting career in Europe and Asia, the 29-year-old, who declared his retirement from international football in 2020, is continuing his football career in the Middle East.

Mensah has had an incredible football career. In 2015, he made a major move to Spanish powerhouse Atletico Madrid after starting his career at Vitória Guimarães in Portugal. But then came a string of loan stints, first at Getafe, then back at Guimarães, and last at Turkish team Kasimpasa.

He moved permanently to Kayserispor in 2019, where he established himself as a major player, before agreeing to a loan to Besiktas, one of the largest clubs in Turkey. He eventually made his debut for Al Tai and then Al Riyadh in the Saudi Pro League thanks to his performances.

Mensah, who was formally introduced by the club as their newest acquisition, is now starting a new chapter in Dubai with Al Nasr SC.
