The next head coach of Raec Mons is George Boateng

George Boateng, a former assistant coach in Ghana, has been announced as the next head coach of RAEC Mons, a third-tier Belgian team.

The 49-year-old, who is in possession of the UEFA Pro License, has agreed to a three-year contract with the team, replacing Emilio Ferrera. Boateng’s arrival marks a new chapter in the aspirational Mons team’s history as they aim to advance in Belgian football.

Boateng, a Ghanaian-born former Netherlands international, has had a remarkable coaching career in Europe. Prior to joining Ghana’s Black Stars backroom squad, he was a member of the technical staffs of Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Hull City, Nottingham Forest, and Coventry City.

The club’s long-term strategy will be guided by Boateng, a coach who possesses the ideal combination of experience and tactical knowledge, according to RAEC Mons, who expressed enthusiasm over his hiring.

After years of productive assistant coaching positions, Boateng’s transfer presents an opportunity to establish himself as a head coach. It is anticipated that his understanding of African football and the European game will infuse the Mons setup with creativity and balance.

when the team prepares for a new season, Boateng will now begin putting his ideology into practice when preseason preparations get underway.
