Manchester United is interested in Baleba, but Brighton is hesitant to sell

Carlos Baleba is a midfielder for Brighton who is keen to move to Old Trafford, and Manchester United is still interested in him. The 20-year-old is eager to transfer, so personal terms shouldn’t be a problem.

Brighton has not stated an asking price for the Cameroon international, though, and has made it clear that they have no plans to move Baleba this summer. Despite only signing him from Lille in 2023, the Seagulls see him as an important component of their strategy.

Indirect discussions between the clubs are now taking place, and United will not submit an official bid until they feel there is a realistic chance of success.

Amorim finds Baleba to be a desirable target as the Red Devils want to bolster their midfield because of his physicality, poise, and versatility, which have all impressed in the Premier League.
