Eto’o gets very angry about being banned from a dressing room in Cameroon
Samuel Eto’o, the president of the Cameroon Football Association, has responded to rumors that he has been prohibited from entering the Indomitable Lions’ locker room and participating in national team training.
In an interview, the former Barcelona and Inter Milan striker said he was shocked by the supposed limitations imposed on him and insisted that his dominance in the national team system was still undeniable.
They inform me that I am not permitted to interact with the Indomitable Lions or practice with them. Which nation? Despite the fact that I am in charge of the dressing room, they inform me I am not permitted to enter.
Anyone may enter anyplace with just my signature! Those that criticize me are not hated by me. However, I am also aware that they must survive and write something each time they receive payment.
Since taking over as head of Cameroon’s football federation in 2021, Eto’o has come under increasing fire for his management style, with some claiming he has overreached himself in team matters. The two-time Africa Cup of Nations champion, however, is unflinching and maintains that his actions are motivated by a desire to see the national team triumph.
The tension surrounding the FA president’s involvement adds another level of interest to Cameroon’s camp ahead of important matches as the Indomitable Lions get ready for future international matchups.
