Lookman’s second Inter bid is rejected by Atalanta

Rivals Inter Milan made a second attempt to sign Nigerian attacker Ademola Lookman, but Atalanta, a team in Serie A, turned it down.

According to One Football, this is true.

La Dea rejected an upgraded offer of €45 million with add-ons after the Nerazzurri’s initial offer of €40 million was rejected.

Lookman has removed all mention of Atalanta from his Instagram page, despite supposedly having reached a personal agreement with Inter.

Lookman scored a hat-trick against Bayer Leverkusen in the final to help Atalanta win the UEFA Europa League for the first time during his incredible 2023–24 season.

After placing 14th in the voting, he was nominated for the Ballon d’Or and won CAF African Footballer of the Year in 2024.

In addition to improving his records from the previous season, the 27-year-old scored 15 goals and provided five assists in 31 Serie A appearances last season. He also scored five goals and provided one assist in seven Champions League games.
