CAF has released Pamoja as the official poster for the 2024 CHAN tournament
Under the “PAMOJA” banner, the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has officially launched the much-anticipated TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 campaign by revealing the tournament’s official poster and concept.
From August 02–30, 2025, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania will co-host the 2024 edition of TotalEnergies CAF CHAN. This would be the first time the three East African nations have collaborated to organize a significant continental football competition.
At the heart of the ad is the word PAMOJA, which translates to “unity” in Swahili.
More than just a slogan, PAMOJA is a representation of peace, solidarity, and a shared objective.
The solidarity of African communities and the values of collaboration, friendship, and teamwork that football exemplifies are symbolized by it.
The official poster, which was released today on CAF’s broadcast partners and digital channels, embodies both the unique cultural heritage of the host nations and the essence of African football.
The poster’s powerful, colorful designs incorporate East African monuments and symbolic elements that are consistent with PAMOJA’s values.
Only players who play in their native leagues are allowed to participate in the TotalEnergies CAF CHAN.
In addition to celebrating native talent, it serves as a demonstration of the diversity and depth of African football.
The PAMOJA campaign aims to strengthen the tournament’s ties to African communities through fan interaction events, digital storytelling, and grassroots football projects. It will be executed across multiple media channels as excitement for CHAN 2024 builds.
