Kenya guarantees preparedness prior to the CHAN competition

Kenya has reaffirmed its readiness to host the CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) by conducting security inspections at strategic locations.

This is what CAF Online says.

The Moi Sports Centre Kasarani and Nyayo National Stadium, which will host games during the event, were examined by a delegation led by Kipchumba Murkomen, the nation’s cabinet secretary for internal security.

According to Murkomen, every effort has been made by the Kenyan government to ensure the safety of the players, spectators, and officials attending the competition.

Murkomen stated, “We want to reassure Africa and the rest of the world that Kenya is ready to host CHAN 2024 in a safe and friendly environment.”

“Extensive security procedures are in place from our airports to our stadiums to ensure the tournament runs smoothly.”

We are certain of our level of readiness after inspecting Nyayo, Kasarani, and the training facilities.

He went on to say, “Kenya is not only prepared, but also committed to providing an unforgettable CHAN experience.”

To make the tournament more accessible to football fans from all over the continent, the country has also declared that all African countries will be allowed entry without a visa.

Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda are hosting the competition, which starts on August 3.
