Jordan Henderson returns to the Premier League with a move to Brentford

Jordan Henderson, the former captain of Liverpool, has returned to the Premier League after Brentford confirmed his signing on a two-year contract.

After a brief stay at Ajax Amsterdam, the 35-year-old midfielder joins as a free agent and will try to offer leadership and experience right away after Christian Norgaard left for Arsenal.

Henderson brings a wealth of experience to the Bees, having started his career at Sunderland before going on to have a legendary time at Liverpool. Having won both the Premier League and the Champions League, he is anticipated to contribute poise, strategic acumen, and a winning mindset to a Brentford team hoping to finish in the top half of the standings.

After two difficult stints overseas, when he struggled for consistent playing time (first with Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia and more recently with Ajax in the Netherlands), he is back in England. Now, Brentford is giving him a new chance to make a name for himself in one of the best leagues in Europe.
