Gervonta Davis, the boxing champion, gets charged with violence after allegedly attacking his former partner during a custody dispute.
According to authorities, boxing sensation Gervonta Davis is in legal hot water after being taken into custody Friday morning in relation to an alleged assault on his ex-girlfriend last month.
According to authorities, the event happened outside the woman’s Doral house on the evening of June 15. Officers in Miami Beach took up Davis, 30, who was then taken to the Doral Police Department. An incident that allegedly occurred on Father’s Day is the reason for the arrest.

According to the allegation, Davis instructed the woman to remove the kids from his vehicle. “Davis hit her in the back of the head and then slapped her in the face,” resulting in “a minor cut to the inner area of her lip” as she bent down to remove their daughter.
She allegedly texted her mother to for assistance, claiming Davis was abusing her. Her mother discovered her daughter sobbing and fighting with Davis when she came outside. The mother also captured a portion of the event on camera, showing Davis hurling a tiny box at the woman.
