Luis Enrique’s team booked a final matchup with Chelsea on Sunday after shocking Real Madrid with a 4-0 battering.

In their Club World Cup semi-final, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Real Madrid 4-0 on Wednesday night, securing a spot in the final against Chelsea on Sunday.

Early on in New Jersey, Luis Enrique’s men established their dominance, with Fabian Ruiz and Ousmane Dembele tearing through a shell-shocked Los Blancos. Dembele pushed Raul Asencio inside the area, setting up a close-range finish for Ruiz, who opened the scoring in the sixth minute. Three minutes later, Dembele calmly scored PSG’s second goal after displacing Antonio Rudiger, doubling the lead.

The French powerhouses didn’t appear to be slowing down, and before the half, Ruiz scored his second goal after Achraf Hakimi set him up wonderfully with a quick team play. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia squandered a good opportunity to add a fourth goal before halftime as PSG maintained their lead while Real Madrid battled to find any rhythm.

Despite letting up a bit in the second half, PSG maintained strong control and completed an exciting performance with a clinical finish from replacement Goncalo Ramos, who was picked out by Bradley Barcola.

With this decisive victory, PSG advances to the final on Sunday, where they will take on Chelsea, ensuring an exciting matchup for the Club World Cup title.
