Thomas Partey, an Arsenal star accused by the Metropolitan Police with five counts of rape

Three women are involved in the charges; one lady is accused of two counts of rape, another of three counts of rape, and a third is accused of sexual assault.
After playing for the team since 2020, the 32-year-old football player’s contract with Arsenal expired on Monday. The team has been approached for comment by BBC News.

In the Champions League, he also made 12 appearances as the Gunners advanced to the semifinals before losing to eventual champions Paris St-Germain.
He played for Mikel Arteta’s team in 130 Premier League games overall, scoring nine goals.
