Shannon Sharpe, who is accused of sexual assault, has postponed his nightcap tour until 2026

A legal claim for $50 million was brought against Sharpe just weeks after the tour was announced.

The much awaited Nightcap Tour, which Shannon Sharpe and fellow NFL star Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson co-hosted, has been officially postponed.

The tour has been rescheduled for 2026, which was supposed to bring the duo’s well-liked podcast Nightcap to live audiences across the nation.
“The Nightcap tour has been postponed,” Sharpe stated in a recent podcast session.

We’re excited to see you all in the summer of 2026. It’s going to get much better and bigger. But Ocho and I have decided that, for the time being, delaying the tour is the best course of action. In 2026, we hope to see you all.

About a month has passed since Sharpe was the target of a $50 million lawsuit from an OnlyFans model who claims the Hall of Famer threatened and sexually assaulted her when they were dating.

Sharpe has refuted all accusations and maintains his innocence, despite the fact that the matter is still pending. In an attempt to resolve the lawsuit, his legal team stated that they made an offer of “at least $10 million,” but they made it clear that this did not amount to an admission of guilt.

The timing has sparked widespread conjecture, even though there has been no direct link found between the complaint and the tour’s cancellation. However, Sharpe and Johnson are still determined to re-engage with their audience in 2026, promising a live performance that is even more exciting.
