Galatasaray is prepared to complete the Osimhen transfer

Abdullah Kavukcu, the vice president of Galatasaray, asserts that the recently crowned Turkish Super Lig champions are prepared to match Victor Osimhen’s salary and fulfill his release clause at Napoli.

During his impressive loan stint at Rams Park, the Nigerian international helped Okan Buruk’s team win the league and cup by scoring 36 goals in 40 matches across all competitions.

Osimhen, who has scored 25 goals in 29 league games, is expected to finish as Turkey’s top scorer. His nearest opponent, Krzysztof Piatek of Basaksehir, has 21 goals.

The 26-year-old forward is anticipated to return to Naples during the off-season, but it seems that he has no future under Antonio Conte, the head coach of Partenopei, since he has been linked to several elite European clubs.

“We spoke to my president about Osimhen in January,” A Spor quotes Kavukcu as stating, indicating Aslan’s desire to make his loan move permanent.

“We told Osimhen in January that we really wanted him to stay put. We are diligently pursuing your transfer.
