Rihanna Unveils a New Song for the Upcoming “Smurfs” Film

Rihanna is back with brand-new music, her first since 2022.

The singer of “Work” shared “Friend of Mine” from the new animated movie “The Smurfs.” It’s her first release since “Born Again” from the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” album.

Rihanna will also do the character of Smurfette in the animated movie, which comes out in theaters July 18.

Since 2016, the 37-year-old singer hasn’t put out a record. Her voice was heard in the movie “Home,” and she has also been in movies like “Ocean’s 8” and “Battleship.”

Rihanna has said in the past that she would love to win an Oscar.

When asked if it was one of her goals, she said, “I’d love to get there one day.” It’s nice to hear that you’re doing a good job.

“Any proof that your work is making a difference is satisfying.” The rest isn’t my fault; I work hard and give everything I do my all.

Everyone who makes an album or movie doesn’t do it with the goal of getting a Grammy or an Oscar. You work as hard as you can, and if awards come your way, that’s great.

A$AP Rocky recently said that he would love to work with his partner Rihanna in a movie.

Variety asked the 36-year-old rap star if he would like to be in a movie with the mother of his children. He said, “Hell, yeah.”

“You saw her in my movie, the 2022 music video ‘D.M.B.'” You saw her in my 2013 music video for “Fashion Killa.”

Rocky stars in Spike Lee’s new neo-noir crime movie “Highest 2 Lowest.”

Rocky said, “That’s gangster.” He and Rihanna have two kids, RZA and Riot, and a third child is on the way. Hey, this s*** is just a joke. Our movies are both coming out in the same year. I didn’t even know that. Wow! We’ve been working, so shout it out now!”

Rocky really wants to make a movie that his kids will enjoy.
