Ugandan Legend Jose Chameleone Addresses His Son’s Unsettling Health Allegations
Abba went viral in December after sharing a number of remarks regarding his father’s health on social media.
Famous Ugandan musician Jose Chameleone has spoken up about the family conflict that has been going on since his son Abba Marcus made surprising statements regarding his father’s health late last year.
Abba went viral in December after sharing a number of remarks regarding his father’s health on social media. Chameleone had been transported to the United States for medical care at that time.
Chameleone rejected his son’s comments as the result of his immaturity. Chameleone is currently in Tanzania to visit fellow artist Professor Jay, who is also ill.
Chameleone remarked, “He’s a child, and children often don’t understand what adults go through.” We met after he said that, and I explained to him that I didn’t chose to get ill. Nobody does. Having a medical problem wasn’t anything I chose.
Despite the stinging remarks, Chameleone continued, he thinks Abba was partially voicing his concerns. It seemed as though he had sympathy for his father. However, this is a family issue, and I don’t want to discuss it more in public,” he stated.
Abba’s Unsettling Allegations
On social media, Chameleone’s son made a number of concerning statements, claiming that his father would not recover and would only have two years to live. Abba claims that his father’s alcoholism had a serious negative impact on his health.
In a TikTok video, Abba stated, “I want you to know that if my father continues with this pattern, doctors say he has only two years left.” “He is my father, and I know him better than anyone else, so this hurts me a lot.”
Update on Chameleone’s Health
After receiving a pancreatitis diagnosis, Chameleone was monitored by doctors in the US for more than two months. He disclosed that he is currently receiving treatment, which could go for an additional year.
“Pancreatitis was the problem,” he stated. Pancreatitis was giving way to acute pancreatitis. The disorder may be brought on by stress, smoking, alcohol consumption, and sleep deprivation. However, those are not the exclusive reasons.
Doctors never clearly connected his condition to alcohol addiction, Chameleone explained. “They didn’t claim that my excessive drinking or smoking caused my pancreatitis. The key aspect is that the doctors performed the necessary treatments, including operations, for my pancreatitis. He said, “I may quit taking my medication in a year.
Chameleone seems determined to move on despite the negative publicity, declaring that he is now fit enough to resume his activities.
