Skai Jackson’s baby daddy returns to jail due to an unfulfilled Ohio warrant

Skai Jackson’s child’s father seems to be turning getting arrested into a regular occurrence! 

The former Disney star’s partner, Deondre Burgin, has returned to jail after being apprehended by authorities for a prior offense in Ohio.

Skai Jackson’s partner has been arrested following a 90-day sentence for violating his parole conditions from an earlier offense this year.

Skai Jackson’s child’s father reportedly did not show up for his hearing.

Burgin, the father of Jackson’s child, has been taken back into custody following his arrest in Kentucky for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant from Ohio. 

On April 17, he was apprehended at a gas station after a Taylor Mill police officer identified him from the National Crime Information Center database. Burgin is presently detained with a bond set at $25,000.

A warrant was issued in Hamilton County, Ohio, after he did not display a license plate on his vehicle in March and later failed to appear in court. 

This recent arrest comes after he completed a 90-day sentence at Hamilton County Jail for violating his parole connected to earlier theft and weapon possession charges from his juvenile years.

TMZ reported that Burgin missed the birth of his and Jackson’s baby, Kasai, while he was incarcerated in January. At that time, a family source revealed that Jackson was enthusiastic about motherhood and dedicated to being the best parent and role model possible.

This isn’t the rapper’s initial encounter with law enforcement; The Blast reported that a viral video showcased Burgin’s clash with police last year, depicting a tumultuous situation where he was uncooperative during the arrest. 

Eyewitnesses reported that Burgin narrowly avoided being struck by a car while escaping from law enforcement. The video depicted two officers grappling with him, ultimately succeeding in pinning him to the ground following a moment of resistance. 

While waiting for backup, one officer maintained control over Burgin by pressing a knee into his back, as a third officer arrived to provide assistance. The official arrest report disclosed that Burgin was sought for a juvenile parole violation and had made attempts to avoid apprehension. 

The chase concluded with him tripping and acquiring a small cut on his cheek, yet he emerged without any significant injuries.

Burgin Shared an Enigmatic Post Regarding Jackson’s Pregnancy Last Year

The rapper was charged with misdemeanor obstruction of official business but has now been released from custody. In addition to the drama surrounding his arrest, he sparked further controversy with a social media post on his Facebook page that generated significant headlines.

The post included a derogatory message regarding Jackson, his girlfriend, and the mother of his impending child, suggesting that he was making an insult towards her. “I’m feeling a bit salty on wopp.” I got this Disney Channel girl pregnant. “I despise this h-e,” the rapper proclaimed.

Both Jackson and her mother stepped forward to defend Burgin, claiming that his account had been compromised by a malicious entity, thereby raising questions about the authenticity of the post.

Similar to her boyfriend, the former child star faced legal issues last year following an altercation with Burgin. The event occurred three months prior to her announcement of the pregnancy with the rapper.

In August of last year, the actress found herself in a domestic violence situation at Universal CityWalk, where she and her boyfriend were observed engaging in a heated public argument. Upon the arrival of authorities, the couple asserted that they were merely engaged and anticipating a baby, refuting any allegations of conflict. 

Surveillance footage showed that the actress had pushed her boyfriend, which resulted in her arrest. In light of this evidence, the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office opted not to pursue charges in the case.

The District Attorney’s Office has declared that it will not pursue charges against Jackson, citing an insufficient amount of evidence to move forward with a trial. Their decision also took into account the actress’s spotless criminal record and the support of her boyfriend.
