MOUs on hydrocarbon cooperation are signed between Occidental Petroleum and Sonatrach of Algeria

The U.S. shale giant Occidental Petroleum (OXY.N) and Algerian energy company Sonatrach inked two memorandums of understanding (MOUs), opening a new chapter to increase collaboration in hydrocarbon exploration and production in Algeria, the company said in a statement.

On the fringes of the US-Algeria Energy Forum 2025, the MOUs were signed Monday.
